Philly Filet Cheesesteak Sandwich
This is the best kind of Steak Sandwich. You will find no bites that have fat or tough bits. This is pure decadence. Cooks in a few minutes and tastes delish!
Big Pete loves this sandwich especially after a long day of riding around the ranch!
You will need:
- 2 beef tenderloin steaks
- 1/2 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 green pepper
- 5-6 mushrooms
- olive oil
- salt and pepper
- barbecue seasoning
- Swiss cheese slices
- soft rolls
Step 1: start by slicing and cooking your onions and green peppers and mushrooms. I have cooked them in a bit of olive oil, salt and pepper. Cook until the onions are lightly browned and the peppers are soft.
Step 2: slice your steaks as thin as possible. You can partially freeze them to make it easier. In a saute pan with a bit of olive oil, sliced garlic, salt, pepper and barbecue seasoning cook steak. This will take a few minutes.
Step 3: create two piles of meat and cover with cheese to melt.
Pile onto a nice squishy roll and devour with gusto!! You know you want to eat this.
