You will need:

The topping amounts are for one pie

  • 1 1/2 cups of warm water (almost hot)
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup white all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 4 cloves garlic- crushed

  • 1 tbsp sour cream
  • salt and pepper
Toppings
  • 2 chicken breasts- chopped into cubes
  • 2 tbsp Frank's Hot Sauce
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • crumbled blue cheese
  • grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp chopped green onions
  • more hot sauce once finished.

*A 10$ pizza stone is a very good investment for making good pizza. I also always use parchment paper to make for easy clean up and no mess in the oven

Step 1: add warm water, yeast and honey to a large bowl. Stir.  Let sit for 10 minutes until yeast has activated.

Step 2: add flours and salt. Knead 3-4 minutes until you have a nice smooth dough. Put dough into a large greased bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and put in fridge for 24 hours ideally. You can use it after 2 hours but, the crust is so much chewier if you leave it 24 hours. Once you are ready to prepare your pizza remove from the fridge and let come to room temperature.

Heat oven to 475 degrees F and let pizza stone heat for at least an hour.

Step 2: chop and fry chicken in a bit of olive oil and some salt and pepper until cooked. Once cooked add the hot sauce, melted butter and cider vinegar and toss. You can shred some if the chicken which will also help it absorb more sauce. Set aside

Step 3: shred mozzarella. I find 1 ball of pizza mozzarella is perfect for 2 pizzas or buy already shredded.

Step 4: prepare sauce for crust. In a small bowl add crushed garlic, olive oil, sour cream and salt and pepper. Set aside

Step 5: roll out your pizza on a large sheet of parchment paper with some flour to prevent sticking. You want it very thin. Spread your garlic sauce on pizza.

Step 6: top with mozzarella cheese, chicken and blue cheese crumbles.

Step 7: Bake for 5-10 minutes until browned and and the crust is crispy. Wait 5 minutes then slice and go crazy!
